No refunds will be made in the case of a no-show registrant, or registrants who have obtained a copy of the materials for the course, including electronic copies. Substitute registrants are welcomed; please contact the Society to notify us of substitute registrations.
Electronic materials are available for a number of Society events and seminars. These materials become available for download three (3) business days prior to the date of the course. MassCPAs encourages participants to download materials in advance as the Society can not guarantee a secure/dependable wireless connection onsite. Materials are not available for download after the date of the event.
How to Access Your Files: Electronic materials will automatically appear in the "Course Documents" section of the CPE Tracker three (3) business days prior to the date of the course. Simply click the course title to download. Materials are available in PDF format, so you are free to view on your PC or most mobile devices.
The Society accepts registrations through the Society website, via telephone, fax and post mail. Registration payment must be received to process registration.
Member Discount Policy
MassCPAs' members enjoy a significant discount on most live CPE offerings. Upon logging in, members will see their discounted prices reflected on the CPE listings. All CPAs are eligible for MassCPAs membership.
New members may take advantage of discounted prices on all CPE courses taken up to 30 days prior to becoming a member. To receive this refund, please let our membership department know you paid the nonmember rate for CPE courses in the past 30 days.
MassCPAs happily offers membership pricing on CPE offerings to active members of any other state society of CPAs. You can take advantage of our discount pricing by indicating your membership state and member number upon checkout when registering online, or providing that information when registering by fax, mail, or telephone.
Online registrations are typically confirmed by email within one business day. If the Society does not have an email address for you on file, you will receive a confirmation postcard by mail. If you receive neither after one week, please call the CPE department.

Substitutions and Transfers
A registrant may substitute another member up to the beginning of the first morning session of a seminar or conference. If a nonmember substitutes for a member, the nonmember will be charged at the nonmember rate.
A participant may transfer their registration to a future seminar/conference.
Substitutions and transfers should be arranged by contacting the CPE Department via telephone.
In most circumstances, the Society is able to accommodate walk-in registrations for CPE seminars and conferences. However, due to circumstances that are beyond our control, we cannot guarantee availability for walk-in registrations. Please contact the Society in advance if you are unable to commit to registering for the course to verify tentative space and availability. The Society is happy to accommodate walk-in registrations on a case-by-case basis when circumstances permit.
Registration Volume Discount
If ten people from the same firm or organization register for the same seminar/conference, the Society will waive the registration fee for the eleventh participant. To receive this discount, MassCPAs must receive all registrations at one time. To take advantage of this discount, please mail, fax, or call in your registration.
Certificate of Completion
Upon completion of a seminar/conference, participants must complete the reverse-side of their evaluation to verify their CPE qualification. Upon receipt, the Society will release certificates of completion to participants who have completed the reverse-side of their evaluation. Walk-in registrants will not receive their certificate until the account balance has been settled.
Discounts and Promotions
On occasion, the Society will provide special, limited discounts and promotional codes through a variety of channels such as social media, through on-site seminars and conferences and other modes of communication. Discounts may not be used in combination with other offers, and are limited in nature. Discounts must be requested at the time of registration and may not be applied after registrations are received. Discounts do not apply to nonmember fees or late fees and they may not be used in conjunction with other discounts.
American Institute of CPAs Member Discount
AICPA members in good standing are eligible for a discount of $30 off the course fee on select courses developed by the AICPA. The discount applies only on 8-hour courses developed by the AICPA and is not transferable to other fees or surcharges. Eligible courses are clearly noted.
Most meeting rooms vary in temperature throughout the day. While the Society makes every effort to maintain a comfortable room temperature, it is best to plan for a variation of room temperatures. Please, dress in layers.
