Dear Hannah,
As 2022 winds down, many members are starting to plan for the
upcoming tax season. So much has changed in the last year, and
MassCPAs wants to help you prepare by providing you with the
latest information from one of our most popular speakers.
Tax guru Sue Smith, CPA, returns next week to host Surgent’s Federal Tax
Camp – and while our in-person conference is
full, you can still register for one of Sue’s virtual
conferences on Thursday,
December 8, or on Friday,
December 9. Agenda highlights
include:
- Timely coverage of breaking tax
legislation
- Schedules K-2 and K-3 reporting
requirements and transitional filing relief
- Foreign tax credit
considerations
- The SECURE Act 2022 proposed
regulations
- State of the IRS and its plans
to reduce
the backlog of returns due to COVID-19
I know this is a busy
time of year for everyone, but don’t miss your chance to get
updated on the most important legislative and regulatory
developments, and the major trends and changes that your
clients need you to know. As a member, you save $100 on your
registration to any MassCPAs conference – so
don’t miss out! You can visit
our website to view our upcoming
conferences or contact Julia Ekelund for
more information.
Have a great weekend!
