CEO Corner

Dear Hannah,

The Society’s Firm Sponsored Membership (FSM) Program is the best way for firms with 10 or more staff to invest in the profession and the future of their firms. Enrollment in the FSM Program means that all certified and non-certified client-facing staff are MassCPAs members, and as our membership grows, so does our ability to represent you and the CPA profession in Massachusetts to legislators, educators, other professions and consumers.

MassCPAs is proud to welcome Baker Tilly and LCW Certified Public Accountants to the FSM Program! They join 70 other participating firms who are investing in the future of the profession by giving their staff 100% membership.

There is strength in numbers, and if you’ve ever thought about joining the FSM Program, the time is now. Your membership supports our efforts to grow and diversify the accounting pipeline, amplifies the voice of the profession at the State House and ensures your firm will be represented as we work to promote accounting careers to students as early as middle school. Participating firms also receive a significant discount on staff membership dues and other exclusive benefits. Details about the FSM Program are here, or you can contact me via email.

We are developing a similar program for members in industry and corporate finance (stay tuned for details!). If you’re interested in learning more, please contact Kara Kieran.

There are so many ways MassCPAs membership can help all members expand their networks and advance in the profession. Join us on Tuesday, November 15, for a free, 30-minute webinar to learn all the ways you can get involved. And if you’re in the Quincy area, come to 16C on Wednesday, November 9, for our next Member Networking Night – register here. Recent Member Networking Nights in New Bedford, Springfield and Burlington were wildly popular – don’t miss this one!

Have a great weekend!
