Dear Elizabeth,

Putting your ideas into action is vital to achieving your goals, both personal and professional, and it’s no different for us at the Society.

You asked, we listened and we’re delivering: The Emerging Leaders Summit, our first-ever conference for young professionals in accounting, will be held on December 5th at the Liberty Hotel in Boston. The conference was created based on feedback from our Young Professional Advisory Group and the Society’s strategic focus on young professional development. You told us that you need a program in which young professionals would learn key networking and leadership skills that are necessary to advance at your firm or business – this conference does just that, and we are excited to bring it to you.

The Emerging Leaders Summit packs a high-energy and interactive program where young leaders will hear from nationally-recognized speakers and a panel of their peers, while building connections with their colleagues. To learn more about this program, click here. You, our member, are the heart of our organization, and we remain focused on ways we can better serve you. Please feel welcome to contact me if you have feedback or suggestions.

Have a great weekend and happy Halloween.

Eileen P. McAnneny, Esq.
President and CEO
