Dear Elizabeth,

The calendar says spring begins next week, so let’s believe that! Spring is a time of new beginnings, and at the Society, new programs and offerings for our members. This season, we’re celebrating you – and here’s how:

Savings. From now until May 1, you can save up to $20 on ALL of our CPE programs. This is our gift to you – and I encourage you to shop and watch your savings add up. This special discount is only available to members.

Information access. The March issue of SumNews is out, and by using our digital reader, you can read it wherever you are. This issue is packed with member news, including: an update on the search for our next CEO; promotions and firm announcements; a profile on the new financial reporting manager at Dunkin’ Brands; and the results of our survey on how Massachusetts CPAs are coping this busy season, just to name a few.

Healthy networking. After a long winter, we’re itching to get outside – and if we can do it while networking and being active, everyone wins. Join us this June for the Women’s Golf Outing and Clinic and the 5th Annual CPA Day of Service. Both are excellent ways to bond with colleagues outside of the office, revitalize your energy and demonstrate your commitment to your firm. Watch this video to see the impact the Day of Service has had on our members.

So while we’re still digging out from the epic snowstorms, and many of you are knee-deep in busy season, keep in mind that warm weather, green grass and good times are in the (very near) future. Only 33 days until April 15 – full speed ahead!

Beth Lyons, CAE
Interim President & CEO
