CEO Corner
Dear INSERT_FIRST_NAME,

We are hitting the ground running this spring, and between our After Tax Season Bashes in Boston and West Springfield, firm visits and last week’s Board meeting, it has been so refreshing to catch up with our members in-person again (finally!).

Our members are the lifeblood of MassCPAs, and I hope to see you all next Tuesday at our signature, member-wide networking event, Connect 2022. Held at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in Cambridge, this event (formerly our Annual Meeting & Networking Reception), is THE place to be to catch up with friends old and new as you enjoy appetizers and cocktails, live entertainment and spectacular views of the Charles River and Boston skyline – the weather forecast is even on our side! We’ll also celebrate our scholarship winners and recognize our 2022-2023 Board of Directors. Trust me, you don’t want to miss this event!  You can RSVP here. To register a group of colleagues, or if you’re having trouble with online registration, please contact us via email or at 617.556.4000.

Lastly, MassCPAs is holding an online vote to ratify the 2022-2023 Board of Directors and a proposed bylaws change that would allow high school accounting educators to join our community. This change to our bylaws, which was approved by the MassCPAs Board of Directors on March 17, will help us engage and support the network around students, as part of our continued efforts to grow the accounting pipeline of future CPAs.

Please take a moment to complete this brief survey and cast your vote by noon next Tuesday, May 10. As a reminder, only Fellow members (defined as active, licensed CPAs) are eligible to vote.

I look forward to seeing you next week at Connect 2022. Have a great weekend!

MassCPAs President and CEO
