Real Estate

The Real Estate Committee is a forum for the exchange of ideas and information related to real estate. Its primary goals are to:

• Organize “speaker series” on real estate topics such as REITS, capital gains, 1031 exchanges, tax shelters or tax codes related to real estate;
• Educate members on the real estate market: Local, regional and national;
• Make members aware of the differences in issues related to commercial vs. residential real estate;
• Showcase and highlight the ongoing impact of changing demographics and regional and local economy on the real estate market;
• Provide decision tools for investing in real estate; and
• Create a network of resources for members to tap into for real estate related questions and topics.
• Provide information on financial reporting as it relates to real estate.
