Calling on the Federal Government for Help on Migrants in MA

This week, MassCPAs was proud to sign on to a letter that was sent to U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas voicing concerns for the federal government to process work authorization for migrants during the ongoing migrant crisis in the U.S. Additionally, the letter asks the feds to allow provisional work authorization while the administrative process unfolds.

IRS Announces Update on ERC Eligibility

Last Thursday, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) announced that they will not review or process any Employee Retention Credit (ERC) claims received on or after September 14 until the end of 2023, which is great news for small businesses.
