If you could live in the world of any book or movie for a day, which one would it be and why?
Back to the Future — because time travel would be possible, and I’d love the chance to witness some of history’s most famous events firsthand.
What’s the most unexpected or interesting fact you’ve ever learned?
Australia is wider than the moon!
What’s one dream or goal you hope to accomplish in your lifetime?
To own a business that helps people or supports other businesses in a meaningful way.
If you could work as an accountant for any famous person or organization, who would it be and why?
A golf equipment company. I think it would be really interesting to see what goes into running a business tied to a sport I enjoy.

If you could live in the world of any book or movie for a day, which one would it be and why?
I would love to live in the world of Powerless by Lauren Roberts—it is a thrilling world full of super powered individuals with a constant shift in power dynamics where characters must discover their loyalties, morality and identity. I would love to experience the tension, abilities and what it's like to rise up even when you're “powerless.”
What’s the most unexpected or interesting fact you’ve ever learned?
Scientists have brought back the dire wolf! This is incredibly cool and interesting for someone who is a huge fantasy fan, who lives in worlds full of dragons and werewolves. Scientists took the closest related species, the gray wolf, and were able to use CRISPR, the gene editing tool, to edit their genome to more closely resemble the extinct dire wolf.
What’s one dream or goal you hope to accomplish in your lifetime?
I would love to work as the CFO or healthcare financial analyst at a hospital like Mass General Brigham. I want to be involved in healthcare and try and ensure financial stability and sustainability for a hospital. I would love to be part of the decision for effectively allocating funding, improving patient care, supporting medical innovation and expanding access to underserved communities. Using the basis of accounting to drive efficiency and transparency in healthcare is a way I hope to make a real difference.
If you could work as an accountant for any famous person or organization, who would it be and why?
I would like to be an accountant at Ferrari! Ferrari is the epitome of precision, luxury and racing. The brand represents the intersection between innovation and an elite business strategy. Working behind the scenes to manage the financial operations of such an iconic company would be exciting and inspiring—especially knowing all of the numbers are related to their legendary cars or one of their infamous drivers.

If you could switch places with any character from a book or movie for a day, who would it be and why?
If I could switch places with any character, it’d be Willy Wonka. His boundless imagination and innovative factory turn chocolate-making into pure magic. A day in his world would be a masterclass in creativity and business—plus, I’d finally learn if the Oompa-Loompas have a union.
What’s the most unusual or surprising thing you've ever learned in school?
The most surprising thing I learned in school was the Emancipation Proclamation’s hidden strategy. While it’s celebrated for freeing enslaved people, its real genius was weakening the Confederacy’s labor force and blocking European support for the South. Lincoln’s indirect approach—achieving moral and political goals through timing and strategy—was a masterclass in leadership, like playing chess while others played checkers.
What's one thing you'd put on a bucket list for your life?
One thing I’d put on my bucket list is watching the sunset with friends and family by a lake cabin. Being surrounded by the people who matter most brings a peace and happiness that nothing crazy or extravagant could ever match. It’s the simple moments, shared in love, that truly remind me of what matters most.
If you could lead the accounting team for any company or organization, which one would it be, and why?
If I could lead the accounting team at any company, I’d choose Chanel. Their ability to blend creativity with success is something I’d love to learn from. I’m inspired by how they balance innovation with tradition, and I’d like to understand how they maintain that harmony while ensuring financial growth. Being part of the team would teach me how to navigate the complexities of luxury branding and long-term sustainability.

How easy it is to make ice cream in a bag during a science experiment.
What’s one thing you’d put on a bucket list for your life?
To travel through Italy, experiencing the culture, visiting historic landmarks and tasting authentic Italian cuisine.
If you could lead the accounting team for any company or organization in the world, which one would it be, and why?
A major fashion brand like Gucci, where I can blend my passion for creativity with my accounting expertise while contributing to an iconic global industry.

If you could switch places with any character from a book or movie for a day, who would it be and why?
I've always been a huge fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and have thoroughly enjoyed its films and characters. If I could switch lives with any character, I would choose Iron Man because I find him both fascinating and inspiring. Tony Stark's charisma and relentless pursuit of global technological innovation are traits I deeply admire and aspire to embody.
What’s the most unusual or surprising thing you've learned in school?
In 7th grade, my science teacher taught our class how to make ice cream — a surprisingly valuable skill that also demonstrated molecular changes during phase transitions. While I no longer remember the exact process for making ice cream from that lesson, I found it to be a perfect example of using unconventional methods to teach abstract concepts in an engaging way.
What's one thing you'd put on a bucket list for your life?
One unconventional item on my bucket list is to try something unique from an international McDonald’s menu that isn’t available in the U.S. While it may seem silly, I’m genuinely curious to compare these items with the fast food I’m familiar with. McDonald’s often tailors its menu to reflect a country’s cuisine or local preferences. For instance, the Pizza McPuff in India or poutine in Canada are just two examples I’d love to try.
If you could lead the accounting team for any company or organization, which one would it be, and why?
Amazon, Disney or Keurig-Dr.Pepper! I find that Amazon tends to affiliate with a variety of industries which can allow for a greater impact in our work. I also find that the variety of items to track will allow for an exciting and changing work environment. On the other hand, Keurig Dr. Pepper and Disney appeal to me because I’m a fan of the products and experiences they offer, making it exciting to contribute to their success.

If you could switch places with any character from a book or movie for a day, who would it be and why?
I would switch places with Elle Woods from Legally Blonde because I admire her strength, confidence and perseverance. She embodies the idea that you can defy expectations and succeed while staying true to yourself. Also, spending a day in her closet and playing with her adorable dog would be a lot of fun!
What’s the most unusual or surprising thing you've learned in school?
Learning that entire memories can be implanted into someone’s mind, even if they never happened. For example, in one study, researchers convinced 16% of participants that they had seen Bugs Bunny at Disneyland, even though Bugs Bunny is a Warner Bros character and would never appear there. Another study showed that 25% of participants recalled vivid details of being lost in a mall as children, even though it never occurred. It’s fascinating how easily our memories can be influenced.
What's one thing you'd put on a bucket list for your life?
Visiting a capybara café. I’ve always found capybaras to be such calm and cute animals, and I think it would be a unique experience to relax with them while enjoying a cup of coffee.
If you could lead the accounting team for any company or organization, which one would it be, and why?
I would love to lead the accounting team at Costco. Their commitment to maintaining customer loyalty by hotdog combo priced at $1.50 despite rising inflation is inspiring. I’d enjoy using accounting strategies to help them continue making these customer-friendly decisions while balancing the company’s financial stability.
