The Working Moms Playgroup (WMP) started in 2007 as a group designed around the needs of working moms, with programming mostly taking place on weekends and in the evenings, and in the midst of the pandemic now also on Zoom. The mission of the WMP Board of Directors is to expand and nurture connections for mothers within their local communities. Attendance at one monthly meeting expected with independent work allocated, if necessary. We are a grassroots organization – a group of moms making things happen because we care. We are currently recruiting for a treasurer. Our books and records are in great shape thanks to a great past treasurer. We are looking for someone to help us with the monthly bookkeeping, monthly bank recs, budget preparation, budget to actual analysis, and tax preparation.
