HFC is a locally-based non-profit organization who owns and operates a children’s home, education, and feeding program in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.  We have been working there successfully for almost 30 years. We are a small, grass roots entity who is nearly all volunteer based in the US.  Close to 95% of every dollar we raise gets spent in Haiti.  We employ a staff of 30 or so exceptional Haitian men and women who are dedicated to making a difference in this desperate place.  We are helping the poorest of the poor, equipping them to become successful adults to help break the cycle of poverty and dysfunction that was started in their innocent lives.  We receive donations from a 1,500 member donor base and need help tracking, and organizing our finances in a timely and regular manner.  The current crisis situation in Haiti puts a lot of pressure on the US side of our operation to try to do more.  without an accurate and current handle on our financial position, we often miss opportunities to do more good.  This assistance therefore is a very important role.
